On March 7, 2025, Adeline Rozefort (Pierre) passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

Adeline was born October 3, 1946 in Au Cap, Haiti to Emilie Pierre, who preceded her in death on August 3, 2020.  She would immigrate from Haiti to New York in the 1960s, where she'd have her two children, Arnelle and Glenn, whom she took great pride in.

Adeline's American dream was to be a homeowner and she'd first make that dream come true in Long Island, NY.  In 1990, she and her son would make the move south to Florida where she would once again achieve that dream with their home in Coral Springs, FL.

Both in New York and Florida, Adeline's homes were always known as welcoming places, with her infectious giggle heard throughout.  Opening her door to family and friends to entertain them and sit down for one of her famous homecooked meals were some of her greatest joys - not to mention she made some of the best griot and macaroni gratin around.

Adeline was an avid traveler as she loved to explore the world and experience other cultures.  Some of her favorite travels were to Greece, France, Italy, Canada, Jamaica, and, of course, back to her birth country of Haiti.

Adeline touched the lives of so many through her giving spirit and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Arnelle Filsaime-Johnson (Ansel Johnson); her son, Glenn Rozefort (Jennifer Korn); and her grandson, Aaron Johnson.
