Alicia Macias' Obituary
Alicia Macias, 89, of Tamarac, FL passed away on April 20, 2023. Born in El Salvador on February 1, 1934 to Joaquin and Maria Macias. At a young age, Alicia moved from El Salvador to New York City. After her retirement from the Daily News security department, she relocated to Tamarac, FL.
Always jovial, Alicia was known for her jokes and sometimes child-like behavior. After retirement she loved going on adventures with her grandson, Joshua. Whether riding the train, visiting the zoo, or going on nature walks, the pair had an insatiable zest for troublemaking.
Alicia is survived by her daughter, Sandra Beutel; two grandsons; one great grandson; and siblings, Maria Santiago, Ernesto Macias, and Lillian Di Fiore.
