In Loving Memory of Angel Luis Vazquez

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Ebeth Vazquez; his daughters, Jasmine Angelica Vazquez and Eliana Yasmine Love; his cherished granddaughter, Mai Emilia Love; his son-in-law, Sean Christopher Love; his brother-in-law, Luis M. Rojas; his sister, Rosita Maria Vazquez DeArmas; and his brother, Oscar Vazquez. Each of them carries a piece of his heart and spirit forward.

Angel Luis Vazquez was, above all, a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and proud "grandpaw." Angel carried the warmth and strength of his roots with him throughout his life. His family meant everything to him, and his constant support, kindness, and big-hearted nature touched everyone around him. Angel's legacy lives on through the strong connections he built and the wisdom he passed down.

Angel was deeply loved by not only his immediate family, but also by nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and friends. So many looked to him as a mentor, a steady guide, or simply the big brother they needed. His calm presence and generous heart were a source of comfort and strength.

He had a lifelong passion for sports, and no team had his heart like Da Bears. Even though he left Chicago, the city never left him. His  pride, passion, and toughness showed up in everything he did and every story he told.

Angel's warmth, sense of humor, and down-to-earth wisdom left a lasting impact on countless lives. He leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and life lessons that will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He will be missed more than words can say—but never forgotten.
