In Loving Memory of Anton Pommells

Anton's journey began on September 2, 1991, on the beautiful island of Jamaica, in its capital city, Kingston. As a young child, he loved to explore, use his imagination to create, and absorb information in any way he could. He never let challenges defeat him — his resilience carried him through every storm.

The qualities he was born with blossomed into the remarkable person we all came to know and love. His passion for art, music, entertainment, reading, and knowledge — along with countless other interests — made him the most fascinating person in any room. This vibrant energy was magnetic, drawing people in to be near him, befriend him, or simply enjoy a conversation.

It wasn't just his brilliance — it was his humility that left an even deeper impression. It was truly astonishing to witness such an extraordinary soul be so kind, so generous, in so many ways.

Extraordinary people are God's angels walking among us — and Anton Pommells was indeed extraordinary. In the short time he graced this earth, he made a deeper impact than many do in a lifetime. Just as he stood on the cusp of greatness, he was called home far too soon, on April 13, 2025.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his memory and the mark he made on this world will never be forgotten. He is survived by his parents, Dawn and Ian Heron, and Stephen Pommells; brothers Nyron, Jermaine, Nicholas, and Matthew; sister-in-law Sydonie; grandfather Granville Goldbourne; aunts Vinetta, Veronica, Jacqueline, Thionia, and Dawn; uncles Joslyn, Delroy, Glenford, Karl, and Brian; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, loved ones, and friends.

Anton's spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us, reminding us to live with the same passion, kindness and resilience that he embodied. His memory will be a guiding light for us to follow. We will cherish the moments we shared with him and strive to honor his life by living ours with the same grace & love he showed every day.
