Audrey
Efros
Nov 4, 1931 — Jan 24, 2026
Audrey Jean Goldstein Efros passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. Born in Albany, NY to Samuel and Lillian Goldstein on November 4, 1931. She was a beloved Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend.
Audrey had a tremendous passion for the arts, especially music and theater. As a trained soprano, she sang choral music and for over 40 years she was a part of Nova Singers. One of her great pastimes was attending shows of all kinds...even the ones starring the Miami Dolphins! With an unending desire to learn, Audrey was a true student of life. When she had free time, she was often found tending to her garden or cooking delicious meals for family and friends alike.
Audrey was known for her kindness, strength and grace- qualities that endeared her as beloved wife, mother, and grandmother but also as a devoted friend. She lived a full and meaningful life, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
Preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Jerome Efros; her brother, Donald Goldstein; and sister-in-law, Joan.
Survived by her daughters, Susan (David) Kraizgrun, Abby (Adam) Weingarten, and Leslie (Jack) Lupu. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren, Jarred Kraizgrun, Katelyn (Sean) Leibowitz, Samantha (Sheldon) Dartt, Alexandra (Jonny) Surick, Zachery (Rachel) Weingarten and Emily Weingarten; and her great grandsons, Hudson and Ashton Leibowitz and Simon and Elliott Dartt.
