Birbal Ranee, also affectionately known as Balo, was born on November 9th, 1946 in Plum Mitan Biche, Trinidad, to his parents Francis Ranee and Rani Narine. He was born in a small dense village in Fitz Road in Biche. He worked for the very renowned Millstein Family in New York City. He was genuine, kind and an all-around wonderful person to family and friends. After the death of his father, he was looked upon as a father figure and was very protective of his loved ones. He was referred to as the very fun uncle who loved life and lived it until he succumbed to his illness.  Balo and Mina enjoyed traveling and experiencing the different cultures and the finer things in life. He enjoyed playing cards and had a love for collecting collectibles. He also took pride in getting his hands on the Hess collection every year at Christmas time. He was a man of faith and loved the Lord. Balo and Mina both attended Miramar Kingdom Community Center even after his illness.

Balo is survived by his wife, Mina; children, Keith and Kimberly; and his seven brothers and three sisters.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a service to begin at 1:30 PM.
