Barbara Jessie Owens, 83, of Coconut Creek, FL passed away on September 26, 2024. Born in Manhattan, NY to Raymond and Carolyn Owens, she was one of four children.

In 1974, "Bobbie" as she was affectionately called, moved with her two young daughters to south Florida. As the biggest supporter of her kids, Bobbie would often volunteer to help with school functions and always attended the girl's sporting events.

In her free time, she was often knitting a magnificent afghan or sweater, or could be found reading a good mystery novel. She also loved playing bingo where her bubbly personality shined.

Bobbie follows to heaven her brother, Paul.

Survived by her daughters, Michelle McBride and Beth (Mark) Keeton; grandchildren, Sean Michael Gerber and Chelsea Carolyn Keeton; and her siblings, Alyce and William.
