Obituary

Belinda Darlington was born on October 23, 1952 to the late Rosa Lee Pierce of Greenville, Florida.

Belinda "Bang Yang" Darlington, as she was affectionately known to family and lifelong friends, and to many others as "Ms. Linda," was a beloved woman whose kindness, warmth, and loving spirit touched everyone she met. No matter what name she was called, she was deeply loved and cherished by all who knew her. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who took great pride in maintaining her home and caring for her family. She expressed her love through her cooking, particularly her beloved sweet potato pie and jelly coconut cake. Blue, her favorite color, remained a distinctive part of her personality and style. In her later years, she treasured the opportunity to devote more time to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, church, and cherished loved ones.

She preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Darlington II, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage with before his passing in 2021; and two brothers, Ronald Henderson and Clarence Livingston, whose memory will forever be in our hearts.

Belinda was a devoted mother to her four sons, Darryl McIntyre (Doonk), Tavaris Doe (Varis), Jack Darlington lll (Bug), and Kenta Darlington (Kenny).

Belinda came from a close and growing family of her own. She was one of six siblings, Claudette Jones, Judy Collins Taylor, Deon Collins. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love that will continue through her children and grand-children, Valencia, Brittany, Brionne, Darrian, Diamond, Darryl Jr, J'Ream, Kateria, Terrisika, Jack llll, Jacob, and Ryla; and great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends.

Her earthly journey has ended, but her love and memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever our  "Bang Yang."
