Bryanna Lizette Nina, 18, of Margate, FL passed away on July 15, 2024.

I remember meeting Bryanna's father, Victor Federico Nina, when I was just 18. Despite people telling me I was too young to have her, I knew from the start that Bryanna was meant to be in this world. She was born on December 19, 2005, at Holy Cross Hospital, a beautiful baby girl, my porcelain doll. Raising Bryanna wasn't easy, but with family support, we built a life together. My mom, her aunts and grandmother, Susanna Nina, taught me how to care for her, making traditional Dominican remedies and showing me the ropes.

Bryanna was always special, an old soul with a unique gift of intuition. She grew up with her sister, born two and a half years later, and they were inseparable. Life threw challenges our way, but Bryanna was a fighter. She spent two years with her grandparents in the Dominican Republic, creating cherished memories. Animals adored her, and she had a special bond with them. Bryanna was the life of the party, known for her straightforward, sassy attitude. Her spirit and resilience shine brightly, leaving an incredible mark on everyone she met.

Sadly, Bryanna's life was cut short at 18, just before her 19th birthday. We had so many plans and dreams, and her loss is a pain I can't describe. But I will always cherish the moments we had, the lessons she taught me, and the love we shared.

Bryanna, you were my first love and my greatest teacher. Your legacy of love, strength, and resilience will live on in all who knew you. Though you're no longer with us, your spirit will forever remain in our hearts. I love you, Bryanna, with all my heart. You will always be my baby. You will always be my guardian angel my first born in heaven watching over us always and forever Bryanna Lizette Nina.

Bryanna was preceded in passing by her father, Victor Nina; and her maternal grandfather, Mauricio Rivas.

Bryanna's light and love will continue to shine through her mother and step-father, Marisol Rivas and Felix Gutierrez; her siblings, Eliana Nina, Mia Gutierrez, Xander Gutierrez, and Emily Santiago; her maternal grandmother, Pura Rivas; paternal grandparents, Susana Garcia and Victor Nina. Also left to cherish her memory are her aunts and uncles, Sarai Williams, Sandra Rivas, Ginete Nina, and Manuel Nina; numerous cousins and a large extended family; along with her beloved dog, Princess.
