Charles Edward
Brier
Apr 30, 1948 — Jul 1, 2023
Charles Edward Brier, 75, of Parkland, FL passed away on July 1, 2023. Proudly growing up on the lower east side of Manhattan, Charlie or CB as he was more affectionately known, was a man of many accomplishments. He graduated Seward Park High School at the young age of 16, married the woman of his dreams 9 days after meeting her, and he became one of the youngest bank presidents in his early 30's. Charlie was also the president of many organizations, a prominent member of the business community, one of the all-time record holders of most attended sporting events in Parkland, and was a brave and strong cancer survivor. Charlie's greatest accomplishment, however, was his family. Fiercely devoted to them, he worked hard to create a wonderful life in Parkland and later in Beech Mountain, NC.
Charles was described in business as tough but fair, which was often the same description used at home, but under the title "Dad." Charles relished being with his family, friends who were extended family, and thoroughly enjoyed his role as Grandpa. He was smart, witty, and had an unparalleled sense of humor.
Preceded in death by his children, Shem and Sarai.
He will be forever missed by his wife of 53 years Bonita "Bunny;" his children, Seth, Simeon (Theresa), Joshua (Amanda), Jonah (Toria), Jacob (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Anthony, JR, Angelina, Gianna, Khirahn, Abigail, Emma, Elinor, Malachi, Benjamin, Ezekiel and Zachariah; and his great grandchildren, Atlas and Athena His first best friend, forever copilot, and younger brother, Michael (Barbara); niece and nephew, Noah (Leila) and Leah (Troy); great nieces and nephews, Fiona, Reina, Arlo and Cole are also left to cherish his memory. The extended Brier and Piskin families, especially his Aunt Hannah; cousins, Brenda, Jay, Craig and Scott and their families will forever remember Charles.
The family requests flowers from Hearts and Flowers, 954.346.6112 .
