Charles B.
Mosher
Jun 14, 1933 — Dec 31, 2025
Charles "Chuck" or "Charlie" Mosher, Sr. passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, having reached 92 ½ years of age. He was born on June 14, 1933, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to Charles Mosher and Louise Cobb Bowen.
Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, a reflection of the sense of duty, discipline, and commitment that guided his life. Following his service, Chuck married the love of his life. He then pursued a career as an accountant in Coventry, where he was known by many for his diligence, integrity, and attention to detail.
A lifelong believer in service to others, Chuck was an active member of the Lion's Club for many years and served with distinction as District Governor. His dedication to community service and leadership touched countless lives and stood as but one of his accomplishments.
In his personal life, Charlie was an avid golfer in his day and especially cherished the time he spent on the course playing with his sons-in-law. Those rounds of golf were more than a pastime—they were moments of connection, laughter, and lasting memories…especially that hole-in-one!
Known to many simply as Chuck, he was a man of quiet strength, integrity, and loyalty. He valued hard work, responsibility, and family above all else. He took great pride in being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and was a steady, guiding presence to those who knew and loved him.
Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved son, Charles B. Mosher, Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 71 years, Joan D. Mosher; four daughters – Cheryl, Elizabeth, Nancy, and Christine; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Chuck's legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the communities he served, and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. In recognition of his military service, he will receive a veteran's burial with military honors.
