Digital Copy of Chris' Prayer Card

Christopher David Hoyer transitioned to his eternal home with our Lord on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025.

Christopher was loved by all who knew him. He loved the Florida Gators, the New York Mets and the New York Giants. His favorite way to spend a weekend was in the pool, surrounded by family and friends, with a baseball or football game on TV. He loved making Sunday sauce for his family, and the door was always open for family and friends. He was happiest around the water, and loved a beach vacation with his family. He was always ready to be goofy and silly with his kids with a good dance party. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Christopher had a huge heart, and his smile, hugs, and overall presence will be missed by those who loved him, every single day.

Preceded in passing by his Grandfather, Kenneth Merklen.

Survived by his wife, Marci; daughter, Lily; son, Mason; father, Cris; mother, Mary-Lin; grandmother, Vilma; brother, Michael (Tara); sister, Katie (Andrew); and sister in law, Michele (Vincent). Also left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews, Maddi, Emma, Christian, Carter, Madison (Michael), and Giacomo.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 7:00PM to 10:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Chris will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
