Claudine M.
Larrieux
Oct 30, 1978 — Sep 24, 2023
Claudine Margaret Marie Larrieux passed away unexpectedly on September 24th, 2023, in Coral Springs, Florida. She was only 44 years old. Her family is grief-stricken at the sudden loss.
Claudine was born on October 30th, 1978, to Yanick and Jean-Claude Larrieux in New York City, New York. Her fondest memories were of living in Rosedale, NY, and going to St. Clare of Assisi School and Church. The family moved to Coral Springs, Florida, in 1992 and immediately implanted themselves into parish life at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. She was an active member of the youth group, taught CCD, and was a eucharistic minister until caregiving called her away from her ministry.
Claudine's earliest dream was to be a teacher. Her first students were her younger family members. She worked at Tradewinds Elementary School for 27 years, working her way up from a counselor in the after-school program to a teacher. She found her true calling teaching children with autism spectrum disorder.
Claudine was preceded in death by her father, Jean-Claude, and, most recently, by her beloved cousin, Katiana Leon Harrison. She is survived by siblings Cassandre, Laeticia, Christian (Christie), Alex (Merideth), Christou, and Pierre; her sisters in love, Pascale (Patrick) and Tisa (Andrew); her nieces and nephews, Patrick Jr. (Sarah), Angelica, Alexa (Dylan), Gabrielle, Joyahna, Jayson, Elijah, Henry, Julia, Annabelle, Lucas, Delilah, and Hazel.
Claudine was a sensitive and empathetic soul. She poured herself, without reservation, into her students, family, and friends. This is not the end of Claudine. She believed in the Resurrection.
We will miss you, Din, until we meet again.
Christ is risen from the dead
and by His Death He has trampled upon death
and has given life to those who are in the tombs!
