Daniel William Olson, AKA DanO, went home to his Lord and Savior on April 19, 2024 at the young age of 54. Born on September 23, 1969 in Manhattan, NY, he lived most of his life in New York until 2020. At that time, him and his "Queen," Tina, decided to move to Margate, Florida where they lived the good life.

Dan was a fun-loving, happy guy that could come up with the funniest stuff out of the blue. He was always looking for the fun that could be had in anything and everything especially when it came to being around people and entertaining. Kind and caring, Dan had a huge heart and loved his family. He loved music and attending concerts; he was self taught on the drums and bongos, played in multiple bands, and fiddled with the guitar from time to time. Dan enjoyed games of all sorts- Wii bowling, shooting pool, cornhole and horseshoes to name a few. Perhaps one of Dan's most favorite pastimes was being outdoors. He took pleasure in camping, being on or near the ocean, shelling and looking for treasures on the beach. Without question, Dan's proudest moment was when he became a grandpa!

He is preceded in passing by his mother, Dorothy Olson; and brother, Steven Olson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Paul Olson of Chester, NY; girlfriend, Tina Mulholland of Margate, FL; daughters, Tanya (David) Hohfeler and Samantha Olson, both of Hawley, PA; sister, Carol Robertson of Middletown, NY; his beloved grandson, Ryan Hohfeler; aunts, Louisa Little, Cecelia Hammond, Dolores Miclo and Theresa Musson; nephews, a niece, and a lot of cousins. He will be greatly missed!
