Dave Junior Huggins, aka "Man" and "Crockett" as affectionately called by some close to him, was born on April 13, 1961 along with his twin, to their parents, Clifford and Eutrice Huggins. He was the last of seven, including another set of twins. His was a family filled with love, laughter and fun with his siblings, and the many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dave was the father of three adult children and grandfather of three. Throughout his life, he continued to mentor and offer his vast life lessons to many others in his large circle of family and friends. His memory will forever live on in the countless lives he touched, the lessons he imparted and the love he shared.

Dave had a successful career working as a Telecommunications Engineer. He was innovative, creative and embraced all new technologies in both his professional and personal life. He thrived to make his surroundings or any system more user friendly for us all.

Dave also loved to cook!!! Once retired, he found joy in making all types of cuisines. Many recent conversations included, "I'm cooking blank today." It brought him joy as life slowed. He was always cooking for everyone, his loving partner of 9 years, family, friends, associates - all were welcomed. In turn, many would look forward to the next invite or request that he make one of his signature dishes for the next gathering.

Born with a congenital heart problem which necessitated several medical procedures throughout his life, he never let it slow him down.  He could party us all out and keep going. He never allowed his health challenges to define him!  As we mourn his passing, we can also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the many he touched with his positive and can-do attitude.
He was a FIGHTER!

May he rest in peace with his mother, father, sisters and brothers until we meet again.
