Obituary

David James Autore passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2023 with his wife, Denise, right by his side. Born in Wayne, New Jersey to John and Rose Autore; he was one of three children.

David attended University of Miami where he earned two Master's Degrees. While going to school he was a bartender during the crazy days of disco. This is when he became known as David A. He worked at multiple clubs where he met many friends that remained close till today. They developed strong relationships and David considered them family. After graduating UM he knew he needed a more stable job so he became an accountant. As everyone knows, David is a workaholic- he never stops 7 days a week. In his hospital bed to the end he was working to make sure he tied up all loose ends.

Above all and before anything else, David was a family man; his family meant everything to him. As everyone knows, he adored his wife, Denise, and never stopped talking about her. He let everyone know she is a superwoman and could do anything. David and Denise met at the Blue Martini and to this day he thanked God she slid over to talk to him. He waited 62 years to get married to the woman of his dreams, and it was a package deal as he inherited 2 sons, a daughter-in-law and added to the family was a Grandson. Now there is a Granddaughter on the way!

David loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. With Denise as his wing woman, they could tell jokes 100 times and she would goof it up every time!

David and Denise loved to travel but when you have two workaholics with multiple jobs it was difficult to get away- they made it work and traveled as much as they could.

Some of the most special times for David were holidays and family dinners where everyone could join together and enjoy the amazing spread Denise put on with her cooking and baking skills.

David was a movie buff, with "The Godfather" being his favorite movie. He was also a big sports fan, yes he was! His favorite teams were the Yankees, Dolphins, and the Heat. You knew where to find David whenever there was a game on.

To know David is to love him. He was a true gentleman with a heart of gold. He always took care of everyone in his life and always did the right thing.

David leaves the love of his life, Denise; stepsons, Frankie (Tiffany) Eagleston and Vincent Eagleston; grandson, Jaxon; and his beloved dogs, Bella and Hazel. He is preceded in passing by his parents, John and Rose Autore; brother, John Autore; sister, Carol Denleavy; and 2 nephews, Robert Dunleavy and Marc Autore
