On April 12, 2021, David J. Bergdorf, Jr. died peacefully at home in his sleep. His death was completely unexpected. He is survived by his soul mate and husband of 32 years, Clifford M. Andrean.

David was born in Syracuse, NY on July 12, 1965 to his devoted parents, David Sr. and Bette Bergdorf. He was loved and adored by his brother, Michael Bergdorf; sisters, Maribeth (Dennis) Waetjen, Cheryl Fahy and Kimberly Anastasiadis; along with 7 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great nephew and 1 great niece; all of whom still live in South Florida. David grew up in Plantation, FL, lived in South Miami for 25 years, and his 6 final years in Pompano Beach.

David started a successful career in Real Estate, and ended up with a long career working for Jenny Craig International. To know David was to love him. He would light up a room when he walked in. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4:00 PM. Please make donations in David's name to HIVcare.org or mealsonwheelsamerica.org in lieu of flowers.
