Deborah Sue "Miss Debi" Horton (Molzon), 62, passed away on March 27, 2021. Debi was born on November 2, 1958 in Painesville, Ohio to parents James and Susan Molzon, the oldest of 3 kids.  Debi will always be remembered for her incredible smile and ability to brighten every room she entered.

Debi graduated from Ledgemont High School and Ashtabula County JVS (cosmetology) in 1977. She always wanted to be a mom and was blessed to have two children of her own. Her love for kids helped fuel her career as a preschool teacher. She helped shape and develop so many young minds over her 30-year career. She was such a positive influence on the lives of those she met. Her contribution was quite remarkable and unmistakable.

She loved her family and most of all, her grandson. He meant the world to her and everything she did over the last 9 years was with him in mind. She treasured their time together, eating pizza and cookies, playing mini golf, singing songs, cuddling and just being silly.

She loved sea turtles, a great cup of coffee,  playing meteorologist during hurricane season, the Dolphins, a glass of wine, playing cards with family, charcuterie boards, Cher and many other activities that just won't be the same without her.

She is survived by her parents Jim and Sue; brother Phil (Robin); sister Barb; children Andrea (Danny) and Christopher (Zatina); grandson Sebastian; nieces Amanda and Renee (Nick and son Samuel); nephew Matt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests considering a donation to sea turtle conservation non-profit ( www.conserveturtles.org )  or planting a tree to remember her by.
