Guests are encouraged to wear their best Dolphins gear in tribute to Dennis's lifelong fandom. Fins up!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis A. Vinkemulder, who departed this life on January 12, 2025, in Boca Raton, Florida, at the age of 65. Dennis was born on July 27, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Bob and Curly Vinkemulder.

Dennis was one of six siblings and shared a bond with his twin brother, David B., who predeceased him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl; his two beloved daughters, Samantha (Luis) and Sheila (Junior); and his six cherished grandchildren: Ashlee, Iyanna, Isaiah, Jayden, Jose, and Jaxson. He also leaves behind his brothers Bobby and Kevin; his sisters Jeri (Larry) and Renee (Tom); and his loving sister-in-law Teri (Manny) and Patty (Jim). Dennis is fondly remembered by his dear Aunt Elaine, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

With the Vinkemulder name legendary in Coconut Creek and Pompano, Dennis was well-known for his connection to Wooden Shoe Gardens, a name synonymous with his Dutch heritage. "WOODEN SHOE RATHER BE DUTCH"

He embraced life with enthusiasm and passion. An avid Miami Dolphins fan, Dennis faithfully cheered for his team every season with unwavering hope. He owned SOS Bobcat Service and was renowned for his skillful operation of his bobcat-so much so that he could make it "dance." Dennis also found joy in nature, grilling, and above all else, spending time with his family.

May Dennis's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
