It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward "Eddie" Thomas on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at 4:45 PM, at the age of 87. Born on Thursday, March 18th, 1937, in St. Thomas, Jamaica, Eddie was known for his generous spirit. He would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend whose smile and laughter could light any room.

Eddie found joy in his work as a landscaper, shaping countless gardens into places of beauty and peace. He found a similar peace in his faith in God. Shortly before his passing, he asked his daughter-in-law, Tina Thomas, to read him a passage, and Psalms 23 was lovingly selected.

Eddie was devoted to his family. He is survived by his children, Elaine, Michael, and Edward Thomas Jr.; his grandchildren, Sherian, Tyree, Makayla, Cyann, Dylan, Sanai, Noah, and Aidan; and his great-grandchildren, Kanai and Mikai. May he rest peacefully.

While his presence was a present, and his kindness touched the hearts of many, we shall take comfort in knowing he is at rest now and will be held close by those who were blessed to know him.
