Eleanor Mascarella (nee Conroy), 92, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Vitas Hospice, Sunrise, Florida. She was born April 24, 1930, to Ellen Gillis Conroy and Wilfred Conroy of Tignish, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She graduated in 1952 from Kings County Hospital Nursing School, Brooklyn, New York and enjoyed a long career as a Registered Nurse. She had a loving marriage to Arthur Mascarella for 59 years until his death in 2012. She was a woman of amazing strength, devoted faith, and great wit.

She is survived by her 5 children, Paul (Carmen), Nancy (Mike), Joan (Michael), Patricia (George), and Robert (Jannet). Eleanor was adored by her 7 grandchildren, Erin (Maurice), Kerri, Christina (Robert), Eric (Emily), Kevin (Emmylou), Connor and Ellie. She was Grammy to Elise, Madelyn, Henry, Kate, Kenley, Logan, and Liam. Her long life was filled with lots of love amongst many friends and family. She will be dearly missed.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at Monarch Funeral Home located at 2950 N State Rd 7, Margate, FL 33063 on Sunday, January 29th from 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Coral Springs, FL at 11am on Monday, January 30th followed by Burial of Urn at South
Florida National Cemetery at 1pm.
