Elizabeth Marrero, "Liz/Elsie", 66, of Coconut Creek, FL, passed away on June 15, 2025 in Coconut Creek.  Liz was born in the Bronx, NY on January 10, 1959 to Jose and Elisa Marrero.

After graduation from Commercial High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pace University.  She spent her entire career at Consolidated Edison and worked as an accountant and budget analyst.  She enjoyed dancing, exercise and pickle ball.

Liz was very passionate about her Catholic faith and served as a minister of the Eucharist for several years at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mahwah, NJ prior to her move to Florida.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Jose and Elisa. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Zoe, and her sister, Lourdes Marrero, both of Coconut Creek FL.

Funeral services will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Monday, July 7 at 10:30 AM.   Inurnment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
