Guestbook and Livestream instructions are below the obituary.

Elsie Muscat was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, a place that instilled in her a lifelong love for the island and its people. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she attended Bushwick High School and Brooklyn College, and spent summers abroad in Paris studying the finer arts.

She was the beloved daughter of Raymond and Rolande Rachelle Muscat, and the devoted mother of Roederer S. Morisset and daughter-in-law Solimar Picon, who lovingly cared for her during her final years. She also leaves behind four siblings—Reginald Muscat, Collette Plourde, Ketly Sigue and Rose Sierro. Four cherished grandchildren: Draake, Salaiya, Simone, and Kingston Morisset.

Elsie's professional journey spanned decades in the airline industry, beginning as a stewardess, then as the owner of a travel agency, and later as an entrepreneur with ventures including a construction depot business and homes built in Haiti. Beyond her career, she gave back generously, supporting children in Haiti through education and job opportunities.

Known as the life of the party and an angel to her community, Elsie's headstrong, witty, and stylish personality brought joy to everyone around her. She loved gardening, shopping, and hosting dinners, but found her greatest happiness relaxing and under the sun bathing at her beach front home with a great drink and great food.

Elsie passed away on September 15th in Margate, Florida. She will be remembered as a rare soul—a provider, builder, tough cookie, and "unicorn"—whose love, laughter, and spirit will echo forever.
