Enrique Sanchez, 87, of Tamarac, FL passed away on April 4, 2022. Born in Lima, Peru on December 21, 1934, he was one of seven children to Aristides and Josefa Sanchez. By the age of 9, Enrique had lost both of his parents and was raised by his third sister, Elvira Sanchez de Gibson, who eventually became the grandmother of the family. Enrique was always the life of the party- either he was cracking jokes or dancing the night away. He was known for his love of Italian food and spent his free time watching soccer, cheering on Barcelona. During his working in years in Peru, Enrique was a banker with a passion for refereeing soccer games.

Survived by his children, Freddy (Elizabeth) Sanchez, Andy (Monica) Sanchez, and Jessica (Robert) Munoz; 6 grandchildren, Renato, Adrian, Sasha, Diego, Valerie, and Christian; and his sister, Virginia Takase. Enrique was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Yolanda and 5 siblings.
