Fernando Jose
Latorre
Jan 27, 1988 — Feb 5, 2025

Fernando Jose Latorre, 37, of Oakland Park, FL passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2025. Born in Santa Clara, California on January 27, 1988, he was the eldest of three sons to Fernando Latorre and Maria Zorrilla,
He is survived by his parents, Fernando Latorre and Maria Zorrilla; brothers, Tomas and Santiago; and Verónica Vilcarromero, his beloved who stood by his side the last 10 years of his life.
Nano lived forever true to himself. He dreamt big and followed his heart. With authenticity and never holding back. He touched the lives of those who he knew little, and left a huge mark in those closer to him.
Whether close or not, everyone knew that Nano was a special person. He could see that which no one could. Out of the blue, he would tell you exactly what you needed to hear, and if inspired, he'd try to help you with any problem or challenge. Unbeknownst to him, he's been the creator of multiple catchphrases in his more intimate circles.
He was on an unconditional quest for God, and for the last time decided to find him, as always, under his own terms.
He was anything but conventional, and lived to learn how to give to be happy.
He departs from this plain leaving us with an in-erasable stamp, a trademark of bravery. Amongst an infinity of things, what remains is the echo of his words, full of love and mischief, his contagious smile and his creative genius. Nano teaches us.
We will love you forever, Nano.
Please share your memories of Nano or express condolences to his family through our online guestbook.
