Geraldine "Geri" LaPorta passed away on December 29, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA to Gerald and Rita LaPorta, Geri spent the majority of her life in and around Philadelphia; eventually she made her permanent home in South Florida.

Geri was a proud Sicilian Italian and this was evident in her cooking and spaghetti sauce. Geri, however, especially loved to bake. She was often found in the kitchen whipping up a batch of delectable cookies for the family to enjoy. Geri's love for her family was everything to her!

Geri was the life of any party- she could be found dancing the night away or chatting up strangers with her bubbly, lively personality. She loved to visit Atlantic City and always remained an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Her passion for life and all that it held was visible in every action.

Survived by her mother, Rita LaPorta; sister, Debbie Paolino; daughters, Kimberly and Christina; grandchildren, David, Dalton, Stephanie, Arianna, and Tristan; and great granddaughter, Aria. Also left to cherish her memory are her niece, Sarah (Jonathan) Cayer; great nieces and nephews, Mia, Madison, LJ, and Devyn; and extended family. Gina was preceded in death by her father, Gerald LaPorta; brother, Charles LaPorta; brother-in-law, Ronny Paolino; and grandmother, Ida Rindone.
