In Loving Memory of Gianni Kaiden Jackson
April 9, 2012 – October 9, 2025
"Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not."
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Gianni Kaiden Jackson, who gained his wings on October 9, 2025, in Margate, Florida, at the tender age of 13. Gianni was born on April 9, 2012, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to his loving parents Laurel Williams and Aaron Jackson. From the moment he entered this world, Gianni filled it with light, laughter, and unconditional love.
As a toddler, Gianni showed the world how strong and determined he was. Through extensive therapy, he worked tirelessly to learn to walk and speak, milestones he achieved with courage, patience, and a bright smile that inspired everyone around him. That same determination continued to shine throughout his life, showing that nothing was ever too hard for him to try.
Gianni's educational journey reflected his joyful spirit, curiosity, and deep connection to both of his parents. While living in North Carolina with his mother, he attended Haynes Inman Education Center for Pre-K, Jefferson Elementary School for kindergarten, and after spending first grade in Florida, he returned to Jefferson to complete grades two through five. He later attended Kernodle Middle School in North Carolina for sixth grade.
In June 2024, Gianni returned to Florida to live with his father full-time. There, he continued to grow and flourish, enjoying school, making new friends, and sharing his beautiful, caring spirit with everyone around him.
During his time living in Florida with his father, Gianni attended Maplewood Elementary School for first grade and later Margate Middle School for seventh and eighth grade. At Margate Middle, Gianni excelled academically and personally. He was a consistent honor roll student, earned the Spartan of the Year award for his outstanding character and effort, and true to his kind and thoughtful nature, was proudly recognized with the Most Patient Award. His teachers and classmates admired not only his intelligence and work ethic, but also his kindness, humility, and joyful personality that made every classroom brighter.
Gianni had many passions that brought him joy. He loved music, dancing, animals, cleaning, basketball, and video games especially Sonic and Mario, characters he adored so much that he even dressed up as both for Halloween. But more than anything, Gianni loved his family deeply and fiercely.
Those who knew Gianni best will never forget his signature humor, like the way he'd respond with an exaggerated "quiiii" whenever someone spoke Spanish around him, or how he'd teasingly say "good boy" or "good girl" when someone did something for him. Those small, funny moments captured everything about Gianni: his quick wit, his playful heart, and his gift for making people laugh even on the hardest days.
He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, cousin, friend, and student, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Loved Ones Left to Cherish His Memory
Gianni will be forever remembered by his devoted parents Laurel Williams and Aaron Jackson; his loving siblings Kadijah, Gavin, Isaiah, Kayla, Clara, and Jonathan; his grandmother Monica; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, teachers, and friends who will always hold him close in spirit.
