Guillermo Planche
Rodriguez
Jun 25, 1941 — Oct 2, 2025
Guestbook and Livestream instructions below the obituary.
"Bueno… me voy."
***********************************************
Guillermo Planche Rodríguez, 84, of Hialeah, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, with his beloved wife, María, by his side.
Born on June 25, 1941, in Cuba, Guillermo was the son of Rosa Lightbourne Rodríguez and Alfredo Planche, both of whom preceded him in death. He is now reunited with them in peace.
Guillermo was a man of quiet strength who lived life on his own terms. He found joy in the simple routines — a Marlins game on the TV, a raspadito in his pocket, and mornings spent with friends at Sedano's. Though he was a man of few words, his love was shown through his steady care and the small acts of service that spoke louder than words.
He is survived by his devoted wife, María Planche; his loving children, Odalis Planche, Guillermo Planche Jr. (Ana), Tania Planche (Miguelito), Yolanda Planche (Orlando), Susana Planche (Joseph), and Rose Planche (Jose); 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He is also survived by his four sisters, who will cherish his memory with love and remembrance.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Monarch Funeral Home, followed by a reception where family and friends will gather to share stories, memories, and love.
He will be remembered for his independence, his quiet humor, and his enduring love for family.
"Well… I'm on my way."
