Obituary

Hans Adam, son of 'Opi' and 'Mamana', was raised in a loving home and, as the older of seven siblings, taught to be dutiful and responsible from an early age.

He learned to be self-sufficient as he spent childhood years in boarding school in Germany, and later attended Valley Forge Academy in the US, where he forged life-long habits, and participated in the equestrian and tennis teams. From his formative years abroad, he fondly remembered the summers and holidays when he'd travel back to Venezuela to spend precious time with family.

Hans graduated Loyola University in New Orleans, with a degree in Business Administration, and went on to have a successful career with both multinational companies and as a serial entrepreneur. Always known for his quick smarts, creativity, and towering business acumen. Through his professional life he made long-lasting friendships.

His latest and proudest endeavor was a family one, starting Sweet and Smart Montessori together with his daughter Claudia, a business that deepened his purpose, took care of his family, and continues to impact the lives of many families.

As everyone who knew him can attest, his passion for the sea was endless, and the fondest of memories involve him sailing away or fishing, in his element, as he would've always preferred it.

Hans lived deeply. He explored places and ideas with infinite curiosity; he read constantly, debated fiercely, stood up for what he believed in, and faced every challenge head-on.

Hans Adam was, and will always be, our pride and inspiration to live a life worth living. He is survived by his wife Alicia "Nena" Adam Pimentel; his three children, Claudia, Raquel and "Kike"; his three sons & daughter in law Henry, Luis and Fabi, as well as his five adored granddaughters.
