Henrique Martins de Abreu, 82, passed unexpectedly on Friday, May 24, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.

Henrique will always be remembered as someone who could put a smile on anyone's face. He loved telling jokes and laughing at them himself; he loved spending time with his grandkids; and he loved his "bride" until his last breath. His smile will live on through those whose lives he touched.

One of the strongest men you could meet, Henrique was resilient and hard-working. He had a way of knowing how to do a little bit of everything, from handling repairs in the home to making the best pé de moleque you could ever have. He fought hard throughout his life and held strong in his faith through it all. Henrique was a doting grandfather, spending several hours a day watching his grandchildren as they grew up, allowing them to teach him English, and taking them on adventures in the park.

He is survived by his wife, Maria José, and their four kids, Margareth, Goreth, Maxlene, and Geraldo. He will be cherished in memory by his grandchildren, Khelson, Melanie, Charlie, Naullila, Marilicia, Selena, and Gabriela, as well as his great-grandchild, Dominik.

Henrique Martins de Abreu, 82 anos, faleceu na sexta-feira, 24 de maio de 2024, ao lado de seus entes queridos.

Henrique será sempre lembrado como alguém que conseguia colocar um sorriso no rosto de qualquer pessoa. Ele adorava contar piadas e rir delas ele mesmo; ele adorava passar tempo com os netos; Ele amou sua mulher até o último suspiro. Seu sorriso viverá através daqueles cujas vidas ele tocou.

Um dos homens mais fortes que você poderia conhecer, Henrique era resiliente e trabalhador. Ele sabia fazer de tudo um pouco, desde consertar as coisas em casa até fazer o melhor pé de moleque que você poderia experimentar. Ele lutou muito durante toda a sua vida e manteve-se forte em sua fé durante tudo o que passou. Henrique era um avô amoroso que passava várias horas por dia observando os netos crescerem, permitindo-lhes ensinar-lhe inglês e levando-os em aventuras no parque.

Ele deixa sua mulher Maria José, e quatro filhos, Margareth, Goreth, Maxlene e Geraldo. Ele será lembrado por seus netos, Khelson, Melanie, Charlie, Naullila, Marilicia, Selena e Gabriela, bem como por seu bisneto, Dominik.
