James (Jim) Dale Carper, 68, of Margate, Florida, passed away suddenly on December 18, 2021.

Jim was born on May 5, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Dale and Catherine (Kitty) Carper.

He graduated from Madison-Grant High School in Fairmount, Indiana in May of 1971. In July 1972, Jim enlisted into the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. During his time in the service, he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He loved his time in the Army and has always enjoyed sharing memories and stories with everyone. Jim was a true patriot to our country!

Jim enjoyed his cigars along with a good drink. He loved working on projects in his workshop and was extremely handy. Jim adored his four legged "girls", Stella and Twinkie along with the late Gretchen. Jim loved his family and friends and would do anything for them.

He is survived by his children, Margaret, Nicole, and David; 4 grandchildren; Kayla, Jasmine, Neylani and Katie; brother, David; sisters, Peggy and Jeanne; several nieces and nephews; and companion, Janis.
