Janine Linette Gamble, 54, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on July 2, 2024. She was born and raised in Bronx, New York until she relocated to Florida. Janine was the youngest daughter of Charles Gamble and Sarah Ann Greene.

Janine had a passion for children, animals, and her family. Becoming a Behavior Tech was a joy to her because she loved teaching and guiding students in the community during her long career working for Broward County Schools. She made numerous friends during this tenure and always extended a helping hand to her friends and neighbors. To her family she was affectionately known as Nene. She was very committed in helping to raise her nieces. Her door was always open for giving advice or just to lend an ear for listening.

Janine loved fashion. She would spend hours going through racks of clothes looking for right outfit and accessories. She prided herself on her appearance. She would always remember the perfect nail polish and matching shoes to complete her look.

She is loved and survived by her sister, Latonia Robinson; nieces and nephew, Angela Robinson, Kashera Gamble, Sabrina McClam (Michael Byles), Vanessa Robinson and Jason Robinson. Janine will be missed and is also survived by her great niece, Lailah Byles; and great nephews, Zavier Robinson, Jay'Zier Byles and Kaden Nichols. She also leaves behind her beloved pet, Pito.
