Mrs. Joyce Middleton Schaub, 86, passed away at her home in Coral Springs, FL on December 28, 2023.

She was born on August 5, 1937, in Cortland, New York to her parents, Julia Emma Haight and Walter Byron Haight.

She graduated with honors from Truxton Central Schools.

She spent many years in Jamesville, New York and also resided in Dublin, Ohio and most recently in Coral Springs, FL. She also spent many summers at her beloved home, Sunset Lodge, in Ellsworth, Maine.

She was previously employed by Jamesville Elementary School, Jamesville, New York and Onondaga News Agency, Syracuse, New York. Her favorite occupation in life was beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Louis Haight, and sister, Rose Thompson. Joyce also follows to heaven her first husband, Robert J. Middleton, and second husband, Michael J. Schaub.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her three children, Nancy (Joseph) Kasouf of Dublin, OH, Norine LeCuyer of Clay, NY, and Robert Middleton (Ann Libby) of Parkland, FL; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held in private.
