Judith B. Schaller, 81, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on July 10, 2022. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was one of three daughters to Catherine and Raymond LeVasseur.

On a chance meeting in 1957 at Von Dohlens Ice Cream Parlor, Judy met a charming man, Rich, who she was instantly was smitten with. On June 30, 1962 Judy and Rich married at St. Catherine of Genoa Catholic Church in Brooklyn. Together they purchased their first home on Staten Island and started a family before relocating to Coral Springs in 1983. After settling in, the Schallers opened a Pinch-A-Penny franchise in Sunrise, FL. Blessed with a bubbly, outgoing personality she was suited for working with customers but Judy's love of numbers carved her niche as the business bookkeeper; a career she was well versed in from her younger years.

Judy and Rich enjoyed cruises, especially visiting Bermuda in the 90's and 2000's. She had a passion for gardening that began in Staten Island with a porch full of gorgeous ferns and continued in South Florida on a smaller scale with flowers. Judy also loved getting the family together and cooking large meals.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Richard V. Schaller; son, Richard Schaller, Jr.; daughter, Teresa A. Mershon; and granddaughters, Kate, Lilly and Julia. Also left to cherish her memory are her sister, Lorraine Erickson, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Costello.
