Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Messer, 69, of Coconut Creek, FL passed away on February 8, 2021. She was born in Hensdale, IL, one of three children to James and Sophie Mineo.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, James; and her son, Louie Crouse. She is survived by her mother, Sophie; her sons, Clinton (Kristi) Lucas and Steven Lucas; grandchildren, Brittany Crouse, Courtney Crouse, Ashley Crouse, Aimee Lucas, Kaylee Lucas, and Wesley Lucas. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Ronnie (Harriett) Mineo and Jimmy (Linda) Mineo, and her best friend, Lorraine Royal.

Kathy was an extremely devoted mother to her boys and always tried to participate in all of her grandchildren's activities. She loved cooking, especially preparing meals for the family on holidays. In her younger years, Kathy was a member of a local motorcycle club and remained active in their activities even after she stopped riding.
