Kevin Francis
Stantz, Jr.
Dec 26, 1986 — Jul 17, 2026
Guestbook and Livestream instructions are below the biography.
Kevin Francis Stantz Jr. unexpectedly transitioned on Friday, July 17, 2026, in Los Angeles, California. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
Kevin will always be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, infectious laughter, and remarkable ability to brighten any room he entered. Even when life presented difficult challenges, he faced them with resilience, determination, and a sense of humor that lifted not only his own spirits but those of everyone around him. He had a unique gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and at ease, often turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
Throughout his life, Kevin possessed a deep passion for standing up for others. That passion inspired him to pursue a career in law, where he dedicated himself to serving individuals and families who needed someone to fight for them. He firmly believed that justice should never be reserved only for those with financial means. Because of that belief, Kevin frequently provided discounted legal services to clients who otherwise could not afford an attorney. To Kevin, practicing law was never simply a profession—it was a calling. He treated every client with dignity, respect, and compassion, taking the time to explain legal procedures and expectations in a way that was understandable rather than intimidating. His guiding principle was simple yet profound: "Everyone deserves representation."
Beyond his work, Kevin embraced life with enthusiasm, laughter, and an unmistakable sense of adventure. Those who knew him best knew that his love for Star Wars and Dragon Ball Z was far more than entertainment—it was a source of inspiration that shaped his outlook on life. He often lived by Master Yoda's words, "Do or do not. There is no try," giving his full effort in everything he pursued, whether advocating for a client, supporting a friend, or striving toward a personal goal. Like Goku, Kevin believed that limits exist only to be surpassed. He viewed every setback as an opportunity to grow stronger, meeting life's challenges with resilience, determination, and the belief that true strength comes not from never falling, but from always finding the courage to rise again.
Above all, Kevin loved bringing people together, sharing laughter, and creating lasting memories with family, friends and anyone he met. Whether it was at a dive bar shooting pool, a giant family party at his aunt's, or a quiet night watching movies with his mom, Kevin had a way of making every moment more hilarious and unforgettable. His energy was contagious, his stories iconic, and his laughter impossible to ignore. He found genuine happiness in seeing others smile, and he had an extraordinary ability to make everyone around him feel included and appreciated.
Although his journey with us ended far too soon, the example he set continues to inspire those he leaves behind. As he would have appreciated from the stories that shaped him, every challenge is an opportunity to become stronger, and hope should never be abandoned. May we honor Kevin by living with the same courage to fight for what is right, the same determination to never give up, and the same joy that he so freely shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him. His spirit, his laughter, and the love he gave will remain with us always.
