Kurt Ronald Mauro was only 55 years old when he unexpectedly died on Monday, February 22, 2021 in Delray Beach, FL. He is survived by his brother, Jim and Adelaide Mauro; sister, Marian Mauro; and nephew, Danny and Abigail Leyva and their daughter Violet.

Kurt will always be remembered for his funny sense of humor. He had the ability to see life from a perspective that would always make you laugh. Following in his father's footsteps, Kurt worked in various trades of construction. In the community where he used to live, everyone knew if you needed anything done to your house...Kurt was your 'go to' guy. Sadly, he was working in the same community when he passed away. Kurt was passionate about golf, and he enjoyed playing as much as he could. It was his favorite pastime. Not only did he enjoy the game, but he was very good at it. Some people who played may never get a hole in one, and Kurt did so on more than one occasion. Although he was never married, nor had any children, his nephew Danny was like a son to him. He was very proud of him, and Danny viewed Kurt the same way. He wasn't just an uncle, he was a friend and a buddy. Kurt, you will be missed.
