Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother

Marie Maltese, a cherished matriarch and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born in East Harlem, a neighborhood that shaped her strength, style, and spirit.

Marie was the devoted wife of Saverio Maltese, with whom she shared a beautiful life and raised five children: Rosette, Anthony, Nicholas, Angela, and Michael. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took immense pride in being a grandmother to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 2 great-grandchildren.

Marie had an unmistakable flair for fashion and a sparkle in her eye for all things glamorous. She adored shopping, cherished her jewelry, and never missed an episode of her favorite show, QVC. Her love for fashion was only matched by her surprising passion for horror movies—she could always be found enjoying a good scare.

Marie's warmth, humor, and style left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her legacy will live on in the memories she created, the traditions she passed down, and the deep love she gave to her family.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
