Marinete Rocha Da Silva, 56, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2024. Born in Governador Valadares, Brazil, on June 2nd, 1968, she was the beloved daughter of Joao Andrade Rocha and Dolores Bernardes Da Rocha. Marinete was a devoted wife to Abilio Gomes Da Silva, and a loving mother to her children, Gabriel Rocha Da Silva and Caroline Rocha Da Silva. To her children, she was more than just a mother — she was their greatest guide, protector, and friend. Her endless love, unwavering support, and selfless dedication made her the best mother anyone could ask for. She is also survived by her 9 sisters, 5 brothers, and an extended family who will miss her dearly.

She spent her life serving others, beginning her career as a preschool assistant and teacher at La Petite Academy. Then moving on to working as a teaching assistant at Quiet Waters Elementary School, where she was known for her kindness and ability to help those who needed translation services or any help in general. Later in life, Marinete became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dedicating her time to caring for older patients with compassion and respect. Marinete was an active member of her church, frequently volunteering and offering her time to help those in need. She was known for her stern but loving demeanor, always putting her family and community first.

A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at 11:30 am at St. Vincent Catholic Church. Her burial will follow at 1 pm at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.

Marinete's legacy of love, service, and devotion to her family and community will forever be cherished. Though she is no longer with us, her presence will always be felt in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family, especially her children, will miss her more than words can express. She may be gone physically, but her spirit will never perish, and her memory will continue to inspire us every day.
