Mark Roy Havass, 93, of Tamarac, FL, passed away on December 3, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by his wife, Sandra. Mark is survived by his sons, Andrew, Richard and Gregg; a daughter, Robin; and grandsons, Matthew, Steven and Austin.

Mark, or Roy, as he was known by family and friends, was born in the Bronx, N.Y. on April 15, 1928 to Anatol and Minnie Havass. He attended P.S. 142 in the Bronx, and the Bronx H.S. of Science.

After serving in the Army Air Corps, Roy attended Hunter College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1950. His subsequent career as a cosmetic chemist, consultant and business owner spanned over 50 years.

Roy's interests included dining out, billiards, traveling, rooting on his N.Y. Yankees, and going out dancing with Sandi, his beloved wife of 57 years.
