Obituary

Marlene Hernandez, 68, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away on July 28, 2021. Marlene is survived by her 3 kids, Harold Ruiz, Carlos Ruiz, and Sujey Gamez; 5 grandkids, Harold Ruiz, Rodolfo Ruiz, Jeancarlo Ruiz, Alexander Gamez and Kaylee Gamez; her loving son-in-law, Denis Gamez and all who knew & shared unforgettable memories with her.
Marlene was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to those who knew her. She always had a peaceful way of dealing with life and always wished the best for all. She loved to decorate for the holidays to the extreme!  She enjoyed going every year to the renaissance festival with her daughter, Sujey, and enjoyed spending time with her plants and watching la Novela El Clon. Marlene would spend most of her time caring for her family and always spoiled her grandkids. She had a passion for food and trying different types. It was hard to see her upset as she had a positive outlook to life and was always available for anyone that needed her.
The light that shined so bright in all the heart of those who knew her will continue to shine, with all the fun and loving memories. As she said to her son and daughter days before per passing, "I don't want anyone crying over me!" So, let's honor her wishes and remember her with happy thought and by living our lives to the fullest!!
