Maureen Rose
Sheehan
Sep 25, 1940 — Jan 30, 2025
Maureen Rose Sheehan, 84, of Margate, FL passed away on January 30, 2025. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she relocated to South Florida in 1977.
Maureen follows to heaven her son, Timothy "Chris" Sheehan (2003); and is forever reunited with her beloved husband of 63 years, Timothy J. Sheehan (2023).
She is survived by her loving daughter, Colleen (Glenn) Neubauer; and amazing granddaughters, Kristie (David) Mangold and Jamie Neubauer. Also left to cherish her memory are her great grandchildren, Amelia, Patrick, and Helen; and her extended family including cousins, nieces and nephews.
Maureen worked in the medical field for decades and made lifelong bonds and friendships, not only with her colleagues but also with many patients. The friendships with Christine Arnone (Clifton, NJ) and Carol Smit (Coconut Creek, FL) are two of greatest support systems she had and their unwavering support has been tremendous to the family during this time. Maureen never turned down anyone in need and would go to great lengths to help others. Maureen would often say how blessed she was for everyone in her life. What she never knew, is that we are the ones blessed to have had her in our lives. Her love, light, and guidance will be missed immensely.
Maureen will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. These details will be updated soon.
