Maxwell T. Achambi, 67, of Margate, Florida passed away on August 1, 2024.

Maxwell T. Achambi, affectionately known as "Papa," lived a remarkable life that touched hearts across oceans. Born in the coastal town of Cochin, Kerala, India, he was nurtured by the love and care of his parents, Mrs. Rita and Mr. Achambi Thottungal.

Maxwell's heart belonged to the ocean and he went on to become a Merchant Navy Officer aboard Greek ships, he sailed through storms and calm waters alike.

Beyond the ship's deck, his true home became heaven. His legacy lies not only in his maritime adventures but also in the countless lives he touched. His acts of compassion rippled through communities, leaving behind smiles, gratitude, and a sense of belonging. We thank you Papa for all the calls, words of advice, the love you have shown us, and the beautiful lives we have lived because of your hard work.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Allykutty, their son Derick who is married to Meghna, and his loving grandson, Liam, and daughter Dr. Annerin who is married to Abann.

As the sun sets on Papa's earthly voyage, his legacy of kindness will forever sail the seas of memory. May his soul find eternal calm in the vast expanse he loved dearly.
