Merle Judith (nee Tenney) Rosenthal, age 84, of Lauderhill, Florida, passed away on February 7, 2024. She was born on September 17, 1939, in Boston, Massachusetts. Merle was a vibrant and energetic woman who lived life to the fullest. She had a kind and joyful spirit that touched the lives of those around her.

Merle had a passion for staying active and enjoyed participating in Zumba classes. She also found great pleasure in solving puzzle books and watching game shows. These hobbies brought her much joy and entertainment throughout her life.

Merle will be deeply missed by her loving family. She is survived by her son, Russell (Judy) Rosenthal, her daughter, Jill Gallo, her brother, Keith Tenney, and her sister, Patti (Harvey) Siegal. She was a cherished grandmother to Neal, Amanda, Jeffrey, and Joie, and had the joy of celebrating the birth of four great-grandchildren. Merle was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ron Gallo.

A Celebration of Life service will be held this Summer in Boston, Massachusetts, to honor Merle's memory. The Monarch Funeral Home, located in Margate, Florida, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Merle Judith Rosenthal will be remembered for her kind heart, vibrant spirit, and love for life. Her positive energy and youthful outlook on life touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
