A beloved daughter, mother, sister, cousin and friend who left us far too soon.
Natalie was the cherished daughter of Woodrow Berry and the late Sonia Wong. She was born on February 22, 1973 in Kingston, Jamaica. She brought immense joy and light to her family and all who knew her. Her kindness was boundless, and her laughter—contagious.
Natalie attended Hartford High School and went on to Connecticut Institute of Hair Design, eventually becoming a beloved hair stylist in her community for a short while. She married Winston Hayles and from that union came four children.
A devoted and loving mother, Natalie's greatest pride and joy were her four children: Natasha, Niketa, Winston, and Mark. She dedicated her life to nurturing them with warmth, compassion, and unconditional love. She was known for her kindness, home-cooked meals, and her unwavering faith. Her fun-loving spirit made every moment special, and her caring nature left a lasting imprint on everyone whose life she touched.
Natalie departed this life on December 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength.
Natalie will be remembered for her beautiful soul, her radiant smile, and her ability to make others feel seen and loved. Whether sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or offering words of comfort, she embodied grace and generosity in all she did.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her children, family, and countless friends who will cherish her memory forever.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
She is preceded in death by her father, sisters and brothers. She is survived by her children: Natasha, Niketa, Winston and Mark; grandson, Javier; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
