Nazim Abdool, known as Nizam or Nick to family and friends, beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle passed away on July 21, 2021. He was 53 years old. Nizam was born and raised in Trinidad. He moved to New York in 1987, where he started his family before his move to Florida in 1999.

Nizam will be remembered by all who knew him as the life of the party, but he was always the first person to be there for his family and friends. He loved with his whole heart and cared about helping people. Nizam enjoyed dancing to soca music, fishing, and watching sports, especially baseball and football. He also loved spending time with the children and hosting events for everyone to get together and have a good time.

Nizam was predeceased in death by his father, Nazir Abdool, but is survived by his mother, Ramrattee (Sugie) Carter. He was the beloved husband of 29 years to Joycelyn Abdool and the loving father of Nathaniel, Jason and Justin. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Rodney (Motie), Asha, Patricia, Inshan (Batis) and Krish. Nizam is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews who will sorely miss their Uncle Nizam as he was a beloved father-figure to them all. He departed this world all too soon, but the impact of his influence on all will remain and be treasured.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 4:00 PM.
