Obituary

Paul Friedman, 57, of Coconut Creek, Florida, gained his wings on Monday October 16, 2023.

Paul will be remembered as a jokester. If you weren't getting picked on, he didn't like you. He was a huge fan of football, especially the Miami Dolphins. Paul was also the president of the Coconut Creek Flag Football League. He coached both of his boys while they were growing up and even after they were grown he continued coaching kids in the community. His love of the sport and the kids brought him great joy and fullfillment. He passed his love of sports on to his boys and they spent many days watching and talking about sports. Paul was a simple person, he didn't care about materialistic things. When he wasn't coaching all he wanted was to spend time with his family.  He loved his girls and was proud of all of their accomplishments. He loved watching them play softball but had no patience to coach them. Those who knew Paul will always remember him for his smart mouth, but his heart was even bigger.

Preceded in passing by his sister, Melissa Friedman; his father, Howard Friedman; his mother-in-law, Gladys Barofsky and many other family and friends.

Survived by his wife, Stacey; sons, David and Josh; bonus son from another mother, Greg, Jordan's boyfriend; daughters, Jordan and Carleigh; daugher-in-law, Ashley; grandsons, Kaleb, Eli, and Noah; brothers, Lewis and Darren and their wives, Karen and Lori; his mother, Barbara Baldwin; step-mother, Vivian Friedman; aunt, Lois Kroff; uncle, Sidney Friedman and his wife, Sandy; sisters-in-law, Carol, Jackie, and Robin; brothers-in-law Gary and Steve; his step-sisters and brothers Cathy and her husband Rob, Tony and his wife Kimberly, and Kevin.
