Obituary

If you would like to make a gift here in Rey's honor to support his family during this challenging time, we welcome your generosity. Your contributions will go to his funeral service.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Reinaldo Rubio. Born on September 25, 1969, to Reinaldo and Joyce Rubio. Rey, as he was affectionately called, graduated from South Fork High School in 1987. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Navy at the young age of 19 years old where he was stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois.

Rey could be described as a loving fiancé, a devoted brother, an affectionate uncle, a true friend to his bonus children, a responsible worker and a lover of the car audio system and tools. Rey's most recent role as Auto Mechanic Specialist, left an indelible impact on his clients. His fantastic charisma and boundless energy touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of meeting him.

Many of us have been touched by Rey's kindness, enthusiasm and passion for work. Rey positively influenced our lives, and his memory will forever live in our hearts.

Share your memories of Rey or express condolences to his family through our online guestbook.
