Richard John McGuinness, 78, of Boca Raton, FL passed away with family at his side on May 27, 2024. Richie passed away in perfect peace, he was ready to meet his Lord and Savior.

Richie was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 3, 1945 to John and Virginia McGuinness. Richie married the love of his life, Renee Proctor, on November 29, 1968 in Brooklyn, NY and they were happily married until Renee passed into Jesus' arms on January 13, 2015.

Richie loved Jesus with all his heart and his life reflected that. He was giving and kind. His smile could light up a room, he always made those around him happy. Much of his time was given to helping others while he was still in pain. He turned his pain into purpose so God was able to use him, even until his last days he wanted to make sure others were doing well. He was a man of the Bible and prayer, he dedicated his life to know Jesus intimately, and always took opportunities to tell others about Jesus.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, John and Virginia; and his sister, Agnes. Richie is survived by his son, James; his step-son, Randy; grandchildren, Benjamin, Joseph, Jared and Matthew; his siblings, Danny, Cathy and Michael; his nieces and nephews, Domenica, Anthony, Sal, Jimmy, Thomas, Dineen, Cora, Kristy, Brendan, Ryan, Anthony, Vinny, Matthew and Maria.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor Richie will be held at Real Life Church on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM. MONARCH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES is entrusted with handling all funeral arrangements.
