Richi Vernet was born July 19, 1986 at King County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York to parents Joel and Andrée Rose Vernet. He was the third offour siblings.

Richi highly valued education, a trait instilled by his parents. His journey began at Les Papillon Vert as a Kindergartener to College Bird in Haiti where he did Elementary, Middle and High School. In 2009, he graduated from Broward Community College with a degree in Business Administration. He also attended Atlantic Technical School, graduating in 2010 as a Dental Assistant. Three years later he earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Besides his studies, Richi was also known for being a hardworking man. His very first job was at CVS Pharmacy as a clerk. He transitioned to Manager for Areas USA, Inc. before his first accounting job with Sonesta Beach Hotel- which was his last job in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Seeking a change, Richi relocated to Tampa and began a career with Coca-Cola, a travel agency, and several other companies where he was trusted with accounting, bookkeeping, and taxes. It was here that he also started a new venture as a business owner.

Richi confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age under the Leadership of Rev. Henry Fernandez of the Faith Center Church in Sunrise, Florida. Once in Tampa, he joined Christian Assembly and Grace Family Church, where he devoted much of his free time.

Richi was the beloved husband to Pascale Jean-Louis for 7 years; they did not bear any children from this union.

It was August 8, 2025 when Ritchi made his transition into Eternity. He leaves to cherish his memory all of his wonderful family, as well as his close relatives and friends.
